wilderness campsite in the remote western lakes

For those seeking a wilderness experience, we'll take you on a fishing tour to the
Remote Western Lakes.
There are more than 3000 in the World Heritage Area of the Central Plateau.
Some actually only contain the native species, Galaxia and other invertabrates, and it is important to keep it that way
to ensure their survival.

Polaroiding is the bread and butter when stalking in good light conditions. In poor light well practiced polaroiding skills are a bonus. Mayflies also tend to hatch in greater numbers with some cloud cover.

If rivers and streams are your passion,
we have many to choose from!
The slower flowing meadow streams, the babbling brooks and the swift running
freestone rivers offer an exciting exprerience.
Dry fly from the start to the finish of the
season is often the preference.
